I greet you in the name of Jesus the Christ.   To God be the Glory for all the remarkable things He has done!  It is with extraordinary joy that we greet and welcome you to the 9^th Episcopal District’s Woman’s Missionary Society’s website.     It is my heart felt desire for women to be inspired, empowered and compelled to serve God.

Historically and statistically it has been a huge disparity in the areas of literacy and healthcare in the underserved communities.    The primary focusses this year are to Achieve Universal Primary Education, eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, and develop Global Partnerships.   We need every hand to deliver God’s supply to His people.   Our mission work in the year to come will be a greater challenge because of the insecurities of this world’s economy and racial climate.  God’s word teaches us in 2 Corinthians 8 “God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work”.

We stand together in commitment to “Transform lives, Build Communities and Impact the World” by “Bridging the Gap, Community, Literacy, and Healthcare Disparities.  We are called to strengthen our faith and sent to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ by service and witness in the world.
